Weekly subscription price list (remains the same) :

Hellenic Bets (picks from events including hellenic teams) weekly subscription will cost 30 Euros (minimum of 2 bets per week) .
European Bets (picks from events that don't include hellenic teams) weekly subscription will cost 45 Euros (minimum of 3 bets per week).
Bet Of Week will cost 40 Euros

Payments for the weekly subscription must be send before the end of the previous week. If you want a weekly subscription, you will have to pay until Sunday of the previous week. For example, if you want to pay for week starting on Monday 8th December, the payment must reach me until Sunday 7th December.

If don't pay the weekly subscription on time, you can purchase individual picks (Hellenic and European bets) at the price of 20 Euros per pick. If you want to buy the "Bet Of The Week" bet (and haven't send the payment on time), you will have to pay 50 Euros per pick.

If i don't give you the minimum number of picks for a week, you get next week (all picks per category) for free.

My view on the Hellenic superliga after 7 rounds

After 7 rounds, Olympiacos is leading by a point to PAOK and two from Xanthi.

As for Panathinaikos is on 6th place with 11 pointes an AEK on 8th with 10 points.

Thrasivoulos, Iraklis and Ofi Crete are below the regulation line with 4 points after 7 games.

In my view, Olympiacos has the best roster in the league. Panathinaikos defence is very bad and should make many changes on January . Panathinaikos coach doesn't have a clue on the superliga's demands and how to handle Panathinaikos.

AEK is also on a mess with managerial problems and won't be able to achieve many things. Paok has a capable team and can finish on the top5 while i believe Aris will catch up and finish in top5.

Thrasivoulos is the number one candidate for regulation with Panthrakiko following. Iraklis one way or another will save the season and i don't have a clue on how things will turn up with Ofi.

A Few words about last round

The second round of the Hellenic Superleague didn't have any big surprises.

Olympiacos would get the 3points in hard way, Panathinakos had an easy afternoon while PAOK and AEK ended 1-1. What was the common thing on these three games ?

Bad quality soccer. PAOK doesn't have the stamina to play 60minutes of good soccer, AEK and Olympiacos still haven't found their potentials and Panathinaikos has big problems in defence.

One team which seems to have stolen the spotlights in the first two rounds is Ergotelis . They seem to enjoy playing soccer and since the creten fans are disappointed by OFI, Ergotelis for sure will steal the spotlight!

It was too hard for Olympiacos to overcome the 3-0 deficit. There is disappointment on their side but a strong belief that Olympiacos will have a great run on Uefa cup and on Greek championship. Asteras Tripolis will have a couple of serious absenses. I am going for the over bet since Olympiacos will won't seek a narrow win.

Hello there,

The weather is quite hot in Athens but will get over it. I have some updates for the future of this blog. I've finalized some issues.

As i said there is going to be a weekly subscription. I am going to create two different picks categories. In the first i am going to give picks from Hellenic teams (Hellenic Sports + games in European competitions which include hellenic teams) and another category which will include picks from events that don't include Hellenic teams.

There will be a different subscription rate for each category and minimum number of bets per week. Will start this way and let's see how it goes. Maybe the two categories will be merged into one.

Hello there

I am back from Euro2008 and my longterm vacations. I went to several countries Europe & Africa and had a great time.

There going to be some changes on the blog. First of all the picks won't be free anymore. There is going to be some sort of weekly subscription , affordable for all.

Last season we made a good 25-9 record or 73,5% with great return on investment. This is my answer to some let's say not mature people who caused problems during last season. Let's see not who will have the last laugh.

Iraklis swept Panathinaikos and won the Hellenic volleyball championship rightfully since Panathinaikos had important absences which afffected its play. Panathinaikos was much better during regular season but Iraklis made some excellent performances and won the championship.

As for today, Panathinaikos welcomes AEK in a game where Panathinaikos need to win while AEK would be happy with a draw. The administrative problems in Panathinaikos seems to come to an end but this doesn't mean that Panathinaikos has the team to win AEK. Now whether its president uses his influence to win today's match, it remains to be seen. The game is right for live betting. If i had to bet prior to the match, i would bet on over or Panathinaikos -1,5AH

Some Comments on the last two rounds of Superliga

AEK won Paok easily and Olympiacos won Xanthi easily too. PAOK and Xanthi didn't play as they should making a gift to the Athenians teams.

Futhermore Ergotelis won Xanthi and Levadeiakos won Veroia with the same ease. That's another proof that nothing changes in the Greek Superliga. The same attitude that existed in A' Ethniki the same attitude exists in Superliga.

As for Rivaldo, he made some very good comments on Olympiacos. AEK has every right to protest since Olympiaco's took the championship on papers and on the field and that's why there were some hard comments from AEK's president and Rivaldo.

Rivaldo said that he heard rumours about Olympiacos getting the results with improper actions during the 3 years he was with Olympiacos but he realized that these rumours were true when we joined AEK.

Ofcourse these comments didn't surpise those who know the truth about A Ethniki. Olympiacos has won 11 out of the last 12 championships , with the vast majority (8-9) due to Kokkalis actions . This is the truth even if some people like or not.

End of regular season - Playoffs begin today

The regular season of Superliga came to an end after the end of 30th round and the CAS'decision.

CAS decision was something to be expected and therefore the Play-offs will start today with two matches, Aris against Panathinaikos and AEK against Panionios.

AEK has 8 points
Panathinaikos has 7 points
Aris has 2 points
Panionios has 0 point

The winner of the play-offs will get a champions league position, the runner up an UEFA position and the 3rd will get an Intertoto position. In reality Aris has already qualified through the Greek cup final and therefore all the teams will participate on a European competition.

The point system is quite unfair for Aris and Panionios where AEK and Panathinakos will fight for Champions League and the other two teams for Intertoto.

Panathinaikos

When i wrote on Sunday that don't be so sure about Ofi-Panathinaikos match i received 3-4 e-mails (not only from Panathinaikos fans) which were quite aggressive. An Olympiacos fans called me "stupid" because i don't want to acknowledge the connection between Panathinaikos and Ofi and the other fans because i have "something" against Panathinaikos' president.

After the match, noone replied to my e-mails.

I am sick and tired of Greek fans who can't see what is happening on their own teams and are not mature enough to understand that soccer is first a business and then a sport.

I told you in the past that Varvinogiannis sees Panathinaikos as a "business" and doesn't care if Panathinaikos wins the championship as long as he can build the new stadium and earn some money on the way.

He has good connections with the Kokkalis family and will become partners in the near future.

As for Panathinaikos , i've told you before that it is no longer a "big" team (for some years now) and won't be until Panathinaikos' president sells the team or builds the new stadium..............

Superliga's 28th Round

28th round for the big league and the suspense in getting bigger.

Levadeiakos-PAOK is not available for betting in our local bookie and to many internet bookies. There are rumous which i cannot confirm that Paok will let Levadeia to win.

There is the Ofi-PAO game where we all know the relations between Ofi and Pao but i am not sure whether the president of Panathinaikos wants to get the championship or wants to earn money.

As for the rest of the pack, Olympiacos and AEK should have easy wins and this leaves us with four other games, where i can see two good bets.

There could no other result for Olympiacos basket. Olympiacos was very lucky in Moscow and as it was normal to suggest that the game in Pireaus would be different and we were right. Those who believed that made some easy money.

Today there is one match that has great interest and will be shown from ET1. The game between Panellinios and Rethymno. Rethymno is trying to save the season and in my eyes thety have a pretty good team. Panellinios is playing good basketball and we are going to see a great game.

Yesterday, Aris won the semifinal of the Greek cup with a penalty 7-8 minutes after the 90th of the game!!!

Atromitos coach and players have every right to complain since the extra time was way too much for that kind of game. Atromitos coach made some comments about the some people's behaviour who believe that they own Aris and Charilaou (Aris stadium).

Due to my profession, i've been to Charilaou many times and i can say that the attitude of some people there is undescrible. They believe that Aris is not a team , but a religion and that Charilaou is their "cathedral" and noone has the right to express an opinion against Aris.

Aris has won many games through the "terrorism" that some un-officials apply to refs and other people. Anyway, this condition should stop.

Today, Olympiacos game against CSKA is very interesting and i have a pick about it.

Those who have a knowledge on Greek Water Polo, know the once mighty and legendary team ANOG.

This weekend ANOG lost from Panathinaikos and went straight to the lower division. It's really sad to see a team like ANOG having this fate. I knew the president of ANOG, when ANOG was winning the greek water polo championships one after another and he is also devastated but he had predicted that many years ago!

As for Superliga, Varvinogiannis still makes money from Panathinaikos. When i wrote about Panathinaikos and stated that the team is no longer considered to be a big team, i got some e-mails from angry Panathinaikos fans who cannot handle the truth.

As long as Varvinogiannis is controlling Panathinaikos, Panathinaikos won't be a "big" team.

I've said it before and i will say it again. Greek Superliga is a joke!

All of us saw two catastrophic performances by refs in last round. Larisa won a penalty in the last minute of stoppage time, a penalty that even a small child could understand that it was an offensive foul and AEK also won a very disputed penalty against Panathinakos.

The reliability of Superliga is decreasing round by round and i believe it will continue that way. Kokkalis and Varvinogiannis have other plans.......

What a performance! What a style!!! Karagounis played a perfect role on Panathinaiko's press conference probably reading Varvinogiannis script. He tried to convince people that Panathinaikos is a great team, is playing good football and that the 1st place is rigtfull theres.

I would like to comment that this oscar performane just tried to change the opinion that many Panathinaikos' fans have, that Panathinaikos is no longer a "big" name in Europe and Greece!

Yesterday, i was right for the wrong reasons! I believed that the ref would help olympiacos but this wasn't the case (at least not to a point where Olympiacos could benefit from).

Aris Panathinaikos is the basketball derby for this round. Panathinaikos doesn't need to win but Aris has troubles with its coach. Strange game.....

AEK-Panionios and Paok-Olympiacos

Saturday has two imporant games. Paok will face Olympiacos in TOumpa for the Greek superliga while Aek will face Panionios for the A1 Basket league.

Paok fans will create a hot atmosphere but i am not sure whether the man of the match , Mr. Pamporidis will have a problem giving the decisions he likes.

As for AEK vs Panionios, everyone is betting on AEK because they seem to be hot right now. The real question is Aek better than Panionios?

Greece has been covered in snow. Most of Superliga's games will go ahead especially in northern part where things are better.

There is no interest in today's soccer game but there is great interest in two basketball games and especially the one between Olympiacos - Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos' roster is much better and Yannakis is not great coach. This was proven in the last match against Maccabi where the ones who listened to me earned a good payroll.

Two greek teams start their fight in the Top-16 round.

Panathinaikos performed badly and lost to Efes but today Aris is facing Fenerbache and Olympiacos is facing Maccabi.

I have three comments to make. First, Panathinaikos doesn't perform well in the first game of the Top-16 round while Olympiacos won't be favoured by the refs (like against Aris). As for Aris, the team from Salonica has better roster than Turks. If Washington becomes more of a team player...

The Rape of ARIS

Olympiacos won easier than i thought but again over is over. OFI ended the game with 10 players but Asteras couldn't capitalize on that.

Anyone saw the basketball game between Olympiacos-Aris ?

Olympiacos won by 20 but the Refs helped Olympiacos a lot. Ok, Giannakis is the national coach, he is a good coach (but not that good) and he doesn't need the refs help to secure his value. Anyone who has experience from Basketball can understand that the win was stolen from Aris. When Aris equalized from 15-18 points deficit, Giannakis couldn't find the formula to stop Aris and refs took over his job!

I hope that this is an one-time event and won't repeat although i have the fear that Olympiacos will get a lot of help from refs so they don't spoil Giannakis' image as a coach!!!!!!!

I told you that AEK won't be ref's favorite pet. Larisa won and everyone who followed my pick earn good money. Panathinaikos showed that is not the big team that used to be. I am afraid that something much change rapidly because things will get even worse.

As for today, Olympiacos faces Panionios in Nea Smirni and there is another game with good interest in Tripoli, between Asteras and OFI. OFI had some very good refs in its last 2-3 games and there was some discussion about it.

Olympiacos made its 1000 win with a dive-penalty , 10 minutes before the end. Aris has every right to complain about the ref's decision. Don't forget that Panathinaikos won Apollon Kalamarias with another dive-penalty.

As i've said on my previous article, the Greek A' Ethniki or if you prefer Superliga is just a theatrical show where the starting actors are the same and the end is almost certain.

I would like to comment on some e-mails i get by some let's say "under 18" readers which use offensive language because i write "bad" things about their team or a pick is lost. All i am doing is try to help you to gain a better understanding of Greek sports and gain some money out of it.

Now if some of you have problem with that, then i can easily charge for my picks and then will see who is better off. It seems that some people don't appreciate what they have for free.........

Olympiakos drew with Panathinaikos for the championship and won 4-0 for the cup.

The second match is closer to the real streangth difference between the two teams. I was right about the draw result since as i told you, the two presidents are working very close........

Unfortunately for PAO fans, Panathinaikos is not considered to be a big team for some years now. The situation won't change until its president leaves the house or change his view about Panathinaikos.

Panathinaikos' managed to win 1-0 Kalamaria due to Germanako's (game's ref) penalty during extra time! I am very dissapointed by Panathinaikos in the last 3-4 years and Tziggers actions has turned Panathinaikos from a very respectful team into an average Greek soccer team.....

As for my pick, i told you, Greek league is quite crazy in almost suspicious way. That's why i believed that Panionios will win the match ;)

The unsual was that Kasnaferis decided to withdraw himself from the game 20'' sec before the end!!!!!!! He was replaced by the 4th ref. Later, he explained that he was feeling dizzy because he was very annoyed by PAOK's fans!

That's a quite unusual event for the European standards. There is more to that which unfortunately i cannot reveal on this blog. Just keep in mind that Kaznaferis has some "strange" connections.

Today three greek teams compete for the UEFA competition while Aris is playing against the French Le Mans for the Euroleague competition.

Aris doesn't have any other option but to win this game. Aris players must be serious and play good offense. Aris will win but will they cover the handicap ?

As for the Greek teams, Panathinaikos is playing in Spain against Atletico Madrid, Larisa is playing at home against Nurnberg and AEK in Athens against Spanish Villareal. I can't say who will be the winner on these games, since the motives of all teams are in question. But i believe we can easily predict O/U bets.

Olympiacos - Aek Aftermath

Well, as i told you, Olympiacos was the better team and won rightfully by 1-0. That was our first bet ;)

I would like to make some comments on the game's aftermath.

AEK's player ZHKOS made a rather offending comment not only about the game's refs but the refs that are in charge of Olympiacos' home games. He stated that the Refs are playing like "pussies" on Olympiaco's home games. I believe that this statement is quite correct. Olympiacos always has the refs favor when playing at home.

AEK's Rivaldo was quite dissappointed not only because he lost a good opportunity to score but because Oly's fans' behaviour was not very polite. Olympiaco's fans seem that they have forgotten all the good things that Rivaldo did for them.......

Anyway, my next pick will be from Euroleague.

Olympiacos - Aek Athens

This game is a big crash test for both teams.

Olympiacos managed to qualify to Champion's League for the first time after so many years and is consindered to be a great success. As for AEK, is leading the Greek Superliga, 3 points ahead of Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.

Olympiacos' fans can hardly wait for the game to start and te stadium will be fully packed. The ref of the game will be Kakos , an average ref who i believe won't spoil the game.

Olympiacos has by far a better squad in comparison to AEK . My first pick will be from this game.
